As an Oxford University graduate and experienced prep school teacher, I have spent over two decades helping pupils excel in entrance and scholarship exams to many of the UK’s top senior schools, including Eton College, Harrow, Winchester, Radley, Marlborough, Stowe, Uppingham and many more.  My background includes senior roles including Deputy Head, Head of Scholars and Director of Studies.
 

I specialise in teaching English, Latin, History, and Religious Studies (TPR) at both 13+ Common Entrance and scholarship levels.  I also prepare pupils for 11+ assessments, including the ISEB Pre-Test as well as individual school tests like the Eton List Test and Harrow Test.  Beyond subject teaching, I focus on building essential skills such as effective study techniques, structured revision strategies, and confident interview performance.
 

My approach is rooted in understanding each student’s strengths and areas for growth, creating a personalised pathway to success. I also work closely with parents, offering clear guidance on school selection, entry requirements and the preparation process.  With extensive experience as a teacher, private tutor and even GCSE examiner, I am committed to ensuring every pupil I work with achieves their potential.
